Student- and doctoral student ombudsman
For students and doctoral students at University of Gothenburg, there are three ombudsmen who can help you if you should get into trouble regarding your education. They work for all the student unions at University of Gothenburg collectively and will help any student regardless of education or union membership. You can contact them here.
For students at Chalmers there are ombudsmen, guaranteeing impartial help for when students and teachers get into a conflict. You can contact them here.

Any student at the University of Gothenburg or Chalmers can turn to our student lawyers with legal questions – the council is free. Read more here.
The Student Health Center is a complement to the public health care system for students at the university of Gothenburg and Chalmers. Our main task is the treatment of health problems originating in or aggravated by the study situation.
Foreign students who are not entitled to public health care in Sweden can have certain medical care at the Student Health Center. This concerns students from countries outside the European Union and students with a residence permit for less than one year. Read more here.
